The certified difference
Most mobile welders sell availability. We sell availability and a certification stamp — AWS and ASME qualified procedures, run by welders who have done the work under inspection.
That matters on a commercial site, where an insurer or general contractor can reject repair work that was not performed to a qualified procedure. We have welded underground in an active zinc mine, inside operating hospital rooms, and on seismic structural packages — and the standard does not drop when the job is a ranch gate.

Nyrstar Mines — underground crusher repair
Nyrstar runs one of the largest zinc operations in the world. When their underground crusher assembly wore through, we went down the shaft and re-skinned it in place with custom-cut, mitered AR-500 wear plate — then fabricated replacement chutes and Room-and-Pillar shaft supports topside. A two-man crew out-produced larger teams and delivered ahead of schedule, including an emergency chute repair at the Cumberland site to keep the mine from going down.
That is what mobile welding looks like at the top end. The same rig, the same certifications, and the same standard show up for a gate repair in Hurricane.

St. George and all of Washington County are our core area, with regular work in Cedar City, Hurricane, Ivins, Santa Clara, and up the I-15 corridor. We also travel to mines, tunnels, and remote industrial sites throughout Southern Utah and the surrounding region. Travel beyond the local area is quoted up front — no surprise mileage on the invoice.
Are you certified, and does that matter for a mobile repair?

We hold AWS and ASME welder certifications and have worked underground at Nyrstar's Middle Tennessee zinc operations, inside live hospital environments, and on structural and seismic packages. For commercial and insurance-sensitive sites it matters a great deal: a certified welder working to a qualified procedure is what lets an inspector, engineer, or insurer accept the repair. For a residential gate or trailer it simply means the weld is done right the first time.
What materials can you weld on-site?

Carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and cast iron, plus abrasion-resistant plate such as AR-400 and AR-500. Our rig runs stick, MIG, and TIG, so we can match the process to the material and position rather than forcing one process on every job.
Can you come out the same day?

Often, yes — emergency and breakdown calls take priority because a stopped machine or a blocked gate is costing you money. Call (760) 419-2541 and you will get a real answer on timing, not a callback queue. If we cannot get there today we will tell you when we can.
Do you work with residential customers, or only commercial?

Both. The same certified rig that handles pipeline tie-ins and mine repairs will come fix your driveway gate, horse panel, or trailer frame. Residential jobs get the same procedure and the same standard of finish.
