Heavy Equipment Repair
Buckets, booms, frames, and AR wear plate rebuilt where the machine sits. Downtime costs more than the weld — we come to the yard or the job site and get it running.
Certified rig welding, anywhere in Southern Utah
Broken equipment, a cracked trailer frame, a gate off its hinges, or a structural repair the inspector has to sign off on — our AWS and ASME certified rig comes to you. Same crew that welds underground at Nyrstar Mines and inside live hospitals will pull into your driveway or your job site.
A fully equipped welding rig carries its own power, gas, and consumables, so the work happens where the steel already is. No disassembly, no hauling, no waiting on a shop queue.
Buckets, booms, frames, and AR wear plate rebuilt where the machine sits. Downtime costs more than the weld — we come to the yard or the job site and get it running.
Beams, columns, mezzanines, and load-bearing repairs welded in place to AWS structural procedure. Certified work your engineer and inspector can sign off on.
ASME-certified pipe welding on-site — tie-ins, hot taps, and X-ray-quality root passes in carbon steel, stainless, and specialty alloys.
Sagging driveway gates, broken hinges, bent handrail, damaged ornamental iron. Cut out, re-welded, and finished on-site without hauling anything to a shop.
Confined-space and hazardous-area work underground and off-grid. Crusher re-skins, chutes, and shaft supports — our rig carries its own power and gas.
Most mobile welders sell availability. We sell availability and a certification stamp — AWS and ASME qualified procedures, run by welders who have done the work under inspection.
That matters on a commercial site, where an insurer or general contractor can reject repair work that was not performed to a qualified procedure. We have welded underground in an active zinc mine, inside operating hospital rooms, and on seismic structural packages — and the standard does not drop when the job is a ranch gate.
Structural and pressure-piping certifications — documentation available for your inspector, engineer, or insurance carrier.
Hot-work permits, confined space, and contractor safety orientations are routine for us, not an obstacle.
Stick, MIG, and TIG on carbon steel, stainless, aluminum, cast iron, and AR wear plate — matched to the job, not to what happens to be loaded.
The same rig that handles pipeline tie-ins will fix your trailer or driveway gate, at a fair price.
St. George, Washington, Hurricane, Ivins, Santa Clara, La Verkin, and Toquerville — our home service area, and where same-day response is most likely.
Cedar City, Enoch, Parowan, and Beaver. Scheduled commercial and industrial calls run up the corridor regularly.
Underground and back-country locations across Southern Utah, Northern Arizona, and Nevada. If a truck can reach it, the rig can weld it.
Not sure whether you are in range? Call (760) 419-2541 and ask — we will tell you honestly, and we will tell you if another shop is a better fit for the job.
Nyrstar runs one of the largest zinc operations in the world. When their underground crusher assembly wore through, we went down the shaft and re-skinned it in place with custom-cut, mitered AR-500 wear plate — then fabricated replacement chutes and Room-and-Pillar shaft supports topside. A two-man crew out-produced larger teams and delivered ahead of schedule, including an emergency chute repair at the Cumberland site to keep the mine from going down.
That is what mobile welding looks like at the top end. The same rig, the same certifications, and the same standard show up for a gate repair in Hurricane.
Step one
A photo of the break and a rough location is usually all we need to scope the job and quote it. Reach a person, not a queue.
Step two
Breakdowns and emergency repairs get priority and are frequently same-day. If we cannot reach you today, we tell you the real date instead of stringing you along.
Step three
The rig arrives with its own power, gas, and consumables. Certification paperwork is available on request for commercial and insured work.
St. George and all of Washington County are our core area, with regular work in Cedar City, Hurricane, Ivins, Santa Clara, and up the I-15 corridor. We also travel to mines, tunnels, and remote industrial sites throughout Southern Utah and the surrounding region. Travel beyond the local area is quoted up front — no surprise mileage on the invoice.
We hold AWS and ASME welder certifications and have worked underground at Nyrstar's Middle Tennessee zinc operations, inside live hospital environments, and on structural and seismic packages. For commercial and insurance-sensitive sites it matters a great deal: a certified welder working to a qualified procedure is what lets an inspector, engineer, or insurer accept the repair. For a residential gate or trailer it simply means the weld is done right the first time.
Carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and cast iron, plus abrasion-resistant plate such as AR-400 and AR-500. Our rig runs stick, MIG, and TIG, so we can match the process to the material and position rather than forcing one process on every job.
Often, yes — emergency and breakdown calls take priority because a stopped machine or a blocked gate is costing you money. Call (760) 419-2541 and you will get a real answer on timing, not a callback queue. If we cannot get there today we will tell you when we can.
Both. The same certified rig that handles pipeline tie-ins and mine repairs will come fix your driveway gate, horse panel, or trailer frame. Residential jobs get the same procedure and the same standard of finish.
